Get GPS On iPhone

Now you can never get lost especially if you have your iPhone with you. Apple will be releasing a new 3G version of the iPhone in 2008 that will also incorporate GPS Sat-Nav. The current iPhone already has Google Maps built-into it, but has no GPS module, so you have to manually type in where you are and where you want to go.You also can't use the iPhone as a Sat-Nav, as it doesn't actually know where it is unless you tell it, that's where the hitch is. Apple are reportedly going to strike a deal with Global Locate, which provides low power GPS modules, for the GPS chipset. With Google maps and a fully functional GPS unit, the iPhone would surely become one rocking smartphone that could give users more than what they want.
