No, we are not talking about some kind of buzz doing the rounds but here is new phone from LG which is called the rumor. This phone is a big thing this fall and is being talked about big time. The reason for this is that the Rumor is one of those rare phones that has a built-in QWERTY keyboard but is most definitely not a smartphone. This messaging-centric device has a hidden slide-out QWERTY keyboard and comes with a few multimedia extras like a 1.3-megapixel camera and a music player. However, the Web browser is still fairly rudimentary, plus the Rumor is sadly saddled with only 1xRTT speeds, and not EV-DO so this a bit of let down. But what ever said, the QWERTY keyboard alone makes the Rumor a great messaging and e-mail device. It's currently available from Sprint for $79 after a 2-year contract.
