Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samung To Team Up
If Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung came together then the Universal Flash Storage specification would see memory cards travel between cellular devices, digital cameras and other memory hungry devices without the need for any adapters. This also means that by 2009, we could have a unified memory format without any hassles. A few memory manufacturers such as Micron Technology Inc., Spansion LLC, STMicroelectronics NV, and Texas Instruments Inc could be roped in for this. And yes, with a unifies memory format, you could land saving a lot. So all this is worth the wait till 2009.
