Samsung is all ready to give you something new, a new breakthrough. Samsung has announced that it is to start manufacturing AMOLED mobile phones for the Far East market with four new models being developed initially. AMOLED stands for active-matrix light-emitting diodes and is clearer than the LCD, even in sunlight. With this, Samsung has beat LG Philips LCD, Sony and Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology who are also working on AMOLED solutions.
