The new line up of phones from Sony Ericsson for 2008 is here. Although a bit unconfirmed at the moment, these new handsets could be on the shelves next year and they all look very promising. Lets look at a fwe of them out here. The W970i in the line up uses a click wheel-like navigation deal and sports a 5MP shooter, along with a memory card slot. An unknown prototype of the W890 phone from Sony Ericsson is now being sold on a website in Poland. The prototype is said to be the successor of W880, a slim walkman phone with a possible model name W890. Sony Ericsson is out with the W850i which is a small and slim phone that can easily for in your pocket. Its narrow width and curved edges make the phone easy to grab, and comfortable to wrap your hands around and is very light. The keypad seems to be squeezed and the keys are divided into rows of thin keys set edge to edge, which makes the keys look wider than they actually are. It is actually an attractive radio tower concept that not only makes cell phone base stations something akin to sculpture but just happen to produce slightly less CO2 emissions during construction, now that's being real eco-friendly.
